Hi,

I am willing to buy a SLR Camera (body only) with my option of lens. I don't have good knowledge about Camera related stuff. But I just want to pick the best (my opinion Canon) camera with my choice of lense on it.

So I decided to buy camera body and lens separately. My doubt is, Is this a simple mechanism to fit the lense to the Camera or it is a big deal ?

Is any one have an idea of how to do it ?

Thanks,
Jyothika.

Jyothika,

Simple as closing a cookie jar!

www.photo.net has an excellent article on building your own camera (selecting a body and lenses separately). However, IMHO, if you are an absolute beginner, may be you should by the standard kit and then buy additional lenses once you know what you really need (Zoom or macro etc)

HTH,

Ashok.
