Name the film that contains these quotes ....

"That's funny....That plane's dustin' crops where there ain't no crops."

"He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy."

"Go ahead, make my day."

"I'll have what she's having"

"Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night."

"Don't let's ask for the moon. We have the stars."

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning."

"I'll make him an offer he cannot refuse."

"It's not the men in my life. It's the life in my men."

"I am big. It's the pictures that get small."

"When the legend becomes fact, print the legend."

Which 2004 British comedy was described as the worst film ever made and "a sump of untreated dung".

No, bigger than Big Birds.
A pelican's beak is bigger than Big Bird's beak.

@Mani: Koala, Denmark, right about "assassination", Mondays are when most suicides occur.

Hmm...not sure how do you define BIG. Pelican's beak seems to be the longest, but Toucan's beak looks larger.

LONGEST BEAK
The Australian pelican's beak is up to 18.5 inches (47 cm) long. Bird Extremes

I think we'll take longest to be biggest.
Toucan doesn't seem to feature on big bird facts...

Well, I guess it's pretty silly to actually compare fictional Big Bird to real pelicans. But, having been born about 100 km from North America's second largest colony of white pelicans (largest of the pelican family), and having watched Sesame Street in its very first season (which was also the first TV show I watched regularly) - I feel a certain obligation to investigate further.

I can't find any good figures on beak lengths - got any? (I wrote that before reading your last post, but any better figures are still appreciated.) The white pelican seems to have a maximum wingspan of just under 3 meters. From pictures, it looks like the beak is at most 1/5 of the wingspan. So let's say 60 cm max. Big Bird on the other hand - hmmm, looks to be 2.5-3 m tall here. Bill length - hmmm, hard to say. I can't find any good profile shots. But I'm going to estimate it's about 1/5 of the total height. So about 50-60 cm. Pretty comparable to the white pelican; maybe a little smaller. Based on the respective shapes, I'd guess Big Bird's bill has somewhat greater has greater volume under normal circumstances. But the pelican does have that big expandable gullet - it's possible a pelican can stuff a lot more fish in there than Big Bird can.

Of course if we bring in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade then it's no contest.

The toucan's beak may look big, being about a third of the bird's total length. But that total length is "only" 50 cm or so. The beak is under 20 cm long. Either Big Bird or a white pelican could probably swallow the toucan whole.
