Hi all

I have file names in a popup menu. I have functionality to open it with its default program but I want to give it 'open with' fuctionality which provides a list of program installed in my system so the user can choose any one. is it possible

Are you asking how to obtain the list of applications that the native file system browser (whichever that would be) shows when you right-click a file? I would imagine that there's a native API call that returns that list if you pass it a file name; you'd need to use JNI to access that.
 
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
