How about a list of ranchers recommended geek kit?

What are your favourite / most useful pieces of geek kit that you use at home or work for computing tasks and why?

Mine are:

1. My 12" Apple Powerbook because it will sleep and awake in 2 seconds, take up no room, last on one battery for four hours and looks cool.

2. 24" Widescreen Dell TFT - coming soon - REAL ESTATE

My basic cell phone(nokia 3120) does sufficient heavy lifting for me.

I also love continue using my 21" old style Dell monitor. It does not look like dying in next couple of years.

I may buy a IPOD(not nano) when the prices come down on Ebay.

These may sound boring, but thats just me.

I don't need no gadget, but I would love this Super Soaker.

@Paul,
Welcome to 21st century..that gadget does work!!! It does not matter if the floor is wood/carpet...in fact when the cleaner moves from carpet to the tiles in kitchen, they automatically seem to adjust to the change on surface...usually takes around an hour or so for it vaccum the entire apartment (800 sq. ft.)...once the battery is almost to die, it automatically docks onto the charging station ...and best of all, the regular stock comes with 2 Infra-Red virtual walls - if you do not want the cleaner to enter any room by itself (I have it in front of my restroom - dont wanna try to run it over water by mistake!)...

i wud say it is worth for the money (350 bucks inc. 3 yrs replacement warranty)!!!

and did i mention that it also comes with a remote control so that u can drag it to any specific area that u wanna cover??
