Java 1.4 and 1.6

Hi,

Can anyone post some good links where i can get the exact differences between 1.4.2 and 1.6 ? I searched and could not find anything useful.thanks.

Thanks Christophe. But What i need is to consolidate the important differences/enhancements between 1.4 and 1.6, rather than finding between 1.4 to 1.5 and then to 1.6. I m wondering if anybody has already done that consolidation and posted in any link?

I doubt it. And if someone did do that, it would probably look pretty similar to what you'd get if you just put the text from those two links together into one article. I suppose you could reorder the items a bit, but overall, [changes from 1.4 to1.6] = [changes from 1.4 to 1.5] + [changes from 1.5 to 1.6]. There isn't really anything in 1.6 that invalidates changes from 1.5, so you're not wasting time if you simply read both. It's all valid. Most of the biggest, most significant changes are between 1.4 and 1.5, so plan to spend most of your time there.
