I have been informed that there is some travel/education money in the budget this year, and I will have the opportunity to attend one of these conferences:

No Fluff Just Stuff
OReilly Emerging Technology Conference
TSS Java Symposium
Java One
RailsConf
Agile 2006
OSCON
OOPSLA

Have you attended any of these conferences? If you have, what was your impressions of the conference?

Thanks,

-Bob

I've enjoyed JavaOne when I've attended in the past. Hopefully I'll get the chance to attend this year as well. They should publish the list-o-talks-and-BOFs soon... so check that out and see if you find any of the topics interesting.

of course... I've gotta put in a plug for JBossWorld - Vegas

Thanks Jess,

I put in a request for the No Fluff Just Stuff (NFJS), TSS Java Symposium and Java One conferences. I went ot a NFJS conference a couple of years ago, and really enjoyed the small conference format.

I have attended Java One twice (2002 & 2004), and enjoyed the sessions and BOFs. I decided to give TSS Symposium a try. I have been told it is a smaller conference like the NFJS conference, and I find that appealling.

Thanks for your advice.

-Bob
