I've had a bit of experience of EJB 2.1 in the past - using it rather than coding stuff up myself from scratch.

Anyway, I was wondering whether I should go ahead and get training in EJB 3.0, or should I go along the track of training myself up Spring / Hibernate.

Looking on the jobs market, there seems to be more demand for Sping / Hibernate, but I just wondered if anyone had any opinions about which way I should go for the future?

Learn both probably isn't a useful answer . There is a relationship - Hibernate has a part that follows the JPA spec used by EJB 3.
