I am a developer with around 3 years of experience.
I am looking forward to be a technical architect. And I have set my eyes on SCEA as that would give me a good exposure and confidence to the path that can lead to my dream.
My doubt since I have 3 years of experience is it too early to take up SCEA as I have been seeing that its generally suggested to take up the exam after you have 5+ years of experience.
I have done SCJP 5.0.
Please suggest.

I think you can try to get this certification, if you are confortable about all the topics covered (Security, JSF, Design Patterns, EJB 3, JPA, legacy integration, and so on). Sun only suggests people having more then 5 years of experience, you don't need to have it.
But be ready to study a lot, because this is one of the most difficults exams from Sun. Maybe it would be a good idea taking SCWCD and SCBCD first.
