I wanted to know where can i find servlet and jsp related basic projects.

Can you be more specific about what these projects should be about? Otherwise, it's a very broad question, and I would suggest looking through sites like SourceForge and www.java-source.net.

I suggest you install the latest Tomcat on your system and study all the simple examples provided in that download as a starter.

If you know of a local charity that could use some help with their web site perhaps you can come up with a project to help them.
