Hello,

I need to know if, can i create an oracle databse using JDBC??.

everything i´ve seen indicates it isnt´t posible, i am using a tool called HENPLUS and i can run sql files, calling HENPLUS from my app, bu this one needs to know the sid name, but i am going to create.

Somebaody may help me???

You could use Runtime.exec to create the database at the command line.

Now i wonder how?

Because my boss doesnt want that i use splplus what i can call it from Runtime.getRuntime.exec("sqlplus------");

also he doesnt want to call a bat or sh file.

it is posible?
