hi,
what is the difference between XML and HTML? why do they use the former one more in the projects?

There's not much in common -- except that they are both markup languages.

HTML is a non-XML markup language for defining the content of web pages (it's XML-compliant cousin is XHTML).

why do they use the former one more in the projects?


This question doesn't make much sense since they are used for different things.
