Minor Errata in SCJP 6 K&B - Chp6 Page 458

The code listing for showing use of Console class, contains a very minor mistake.
The class NewConsole is missing declaration for the 'name' local variable.
It might have been noticed and edited in the next edition, but just thought I would post it.

I am still struggling with the tougher Compilations fails vs. Runtime errors

Have you thought about making a list of cases in which compilation fails vs cases where runtime exceptions take place? It might be quite a task to do that, but I'm sure it would be worth it.

Sounds good, Kavita. Just don't try to memorize the list, instead try to understand why things are the way they are and then you will remember better.
