hello ranchers,

Can any 1 guide my on how to watermark an image using "IReport"

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think IReport (or actually JasperReports, which it uses) have any capabilities to alter images. You'd need to do that in code of your own before including an image in the report.
There is a "page background" feature you may be able to use for watermarking, though.

got it working..
guys.
using background band.

Pasting below steps.
Well here you go:



1.open your JRXML in iReport.

2.go to the band-properties dialog

3.select the BACKGROUND Band (first band)

4.set a band height (e.g. half page-height, or even whole page-height --> see report properties (paper size) depends where you want to place your watermark)

5.put your Text/graphic etc at this band
