I see I got my results in about 5 weeks. It was heck of a wait. Do check the CertManager (upload assignment site) for the results. At first, I was checking the other site (CertDatabase) which also say "pending".

I'm sure you will do fine.

Hi Mura,

It's a wait of 4 to 6 weeks, so in the bad scenario you still have 1 week of waiting to go

I took the exam and submitted the assignment on May 15th, so i have a whole lot of weeks to wait before i know the result. But I was wondering, say you fail automatically (forgot the runme.jar, Data class didn't implement correct interface,...), would it also take 4-6 weeks? Or could you rule out such an automatic fail after 1-2 weeks not getting a fail score?

Kind regards,
Roel

Hum... I guess yes. They would see that you forgot one of the "musts", but would probably continue reviewing your assignment, so they could give you your score in each criteria, and would also see if you forgot another "must", to give you a complete report so you can fix whatever is needed for resubmission. I guess it could be it.

Hi Roel, if it is automatic failure then Sun would say you are failed within 1-2 weeks. I believe this because the entire marking process first must pass the "computer test" then the "human test". If say you have missing files I'm sure the computer will notice it. The human test is just implementing such as opening the GUI, doing the setup/config etc. Once they get the main window which should take less than 2 weeks... I doubt it will "auto fail".
