Hi

I have a question. Do we have protected classes in java? I wasn't able to declare a class as protected but in one of the website they have used protected class. Can any one help me to figure it out?

Thanks
Vijay

Hi Ninad Kulkarni I am sorry for not specifying this in my previous post. I know that we can give for inner class I meant about top level outer classes. Is it possible for us to specify protected modifier for the outer classes???

Thanks
Vijay

Specify protected modifier for outer class and compile the code you will get useful information from compiler.
