I studied on JavaRanch when working on my SCJP and found that I really enjoyed the environment and the people here. I've been unable to find anything similar elsewhere.

I know a few people that are interested in studying for the JavaScript Certification from the W3C. I know that JavaScript is not Java and this is Java Ranch, but would it be ok to hold discussions in this "Other Certifications" forum while we're studying for it?

Thanks,
Joshua Smith

I think it's fine to discuss certification-related topics in this forum. JavaScript questions and discussions should go into the HTML/JavaScript forum, though.
