need a program from javascript

Hai,

I need a program using javascript,

For example i have downloaded something through window ,when download was complete i should get blink (some color)
from the window like gmail chat when user hit some message it will highlight in our window.

There is no way to detect if something is downloading, started or completed. So this requirement is impossible.

If you want the title to blink you focus and blur the window.
