Does anyone know how to pretty print an axis reply?
I get a reply back and want to print it to the console. ToString() just prints the object reference...

Hi!
You can use an empty transform according to the following code snippet:
... TransformerFactory theXFormFactory = TransformerFactory.newInstance(); Transformer theXFormer = theXFormFactory.newTransformer(); theXFormer.setOutputProperty(OutputKeys.INDENT, "yes"); /* This is the source of the XML to be pretty-printed on the console. */ DOMSource theDOMSrc = ...; StreamResult theResult = new StreamResult(System.out); theXFormer.transform(theDOMSrc, theResult);
This does not only apply when using Axis, but is "universal".
Best wishes!
