Hai friends...

I just got a doubt,if there are 100's of records..how to insert in mysql, i searched through & found an information that after converting the data to XML,it can be taken to data base..how to do it..can anyone explain me, this in detail

What format are these hundreds of records in?

What format does the database require?

Creating XML is not a short-cut, directly reading the records and formulating JDBC statements to store the data will be probably be simpler.
