I tried the link and copied the simpleservlet war file into the webapps folder of tomcat server.
I did like this.C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\webapps\servlets-examples\WEB-INF\classes\simpleservlet
then I sarted the tomcat server. In the browser when i gave like this.http://localhost:8080/SimpleServlet.
I have set my default port as 8080.I am getting a 404 error in the browser.

Is this a response of this thread?? Anyways, put the war file under C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\webapps\simpleservlet.war (or whatever the war file name is)...

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
