Its called ellipsis (there's no specific word in Java for it, its just called ellipsis as in general English). It is a part of the java language syntax...

I was wondering before asking the name of (...) why didn't the name for ([]) was asked? Well as Ankit said its the part of the java syntax more like (;), (, (,) etc. I don't think SCJP6 exam asks the name of the operators at all.

The "..." are used for Java's varargs syntax.

It's not really an operator; an operator is a thing that works on one, two or three values, for example the + operator works on the values that are to the left and right of it.
