Can you give any indication of what the costs/process is for joining the partner program or for including Pentaho as part of an OEM offering?
(Does the book get into this at all?)

I acknowledge that this is something that is likely negiotiable... but I'm curious of a ballpark feel before opening any serious inquiries.

Pentaho recently announced a simplified OEM process, here is the link to the press release:

The offer eliminates the complexity of royalty payments, per user, per server, or other charges and replaces them with a flat annual subscription fee for the named application that allows partners to distribute Pentaho’s technology with the full support of the commercial open source BI leader.
