SelectBooleanCheckBox not passing value properly

I have a SelectBooleanCheckBox which is checked and disabled by default.... but when i click submit button, it is passing value as false....please help me to fix this?

There's something funny in what you just said. A selectbooleancheckbox renders as an HTML checkbox, and and HTML checkbox never gets sent to the server at all unless it's checked. In which case the value "checked" is sent.

A disabled control won't send back data regardless.
