So last night my wife came back from her last shift volunteering at the Olympics. (That's the 2010 Winter Olympics which are here in Vancouver, Canada, for those of you unfamiliar with the concept.) She was showing me all the pins she had collected, and for the last one she said "And here's this one from Sun Microsystems, whoever they are".

I just started laughing. It's even more ironic that today is Sun's last day of existence, at least in Canada where March 1 is the day that Oracle officially acquires them.

Any guesses how much that pin is going to be worth in a few years?
