Hello! I am totally new to web...
How can I point my web domain to my computer (I have apache tomcat server), I have dynamic IP
What do I need to do?

Well, I haven't done this myself but assuming you are on an internet provider which gives you dynamic IP then you will need a service like the free http://www.dyndns.com/

Or alternatively you could contact your Internet service provider and ask them to provide you with a fixed IP address so that you can have people connect to your server over the Internet.

Hi Paul, again - no real experience of this - but my understanding is that I am with virginmedia and they do not offer static IP.

That said, I don't think my IP has changed since I can remember but I guess there are no guarantees.

As you say, if your provider offers it then that's the easiest solution :-)
