Hi,
If I use actionForward to navigate from Action1 --> to Action 2, does Action forward loses the request objects ?
if so is there any way to retain the request object in Action2.

If it's a redirect, yes, you'll lose the original request.
But action chaining is almost *always* a bad idea.
