Hi Guys,
I'm running into some (probably easy to resolve) with Jacorb...
I've created a small JCA source adapter that is connecting to a server and then resolving object and making operation and this is working.
To establish the initial connection I'm using an IP address but when I'm trying to narrow the naming context the server is replying back with a domain name like corbaserver.mysite.com and this is not resolvable on some machine (lack of hosts configuration).
This is resulting into:
2010-05-11 12:06:21,921 TRACE [com.vitria.ps.corba.np.source.NPFOSCorbaSourceConnectorLogger] -----> [Narrow NamingContextExt]
2010-05-11 12:06:21,937 ERROR [STDERR] 2010-05-11 12:06:21.937 INFO ClientConnectionManager: created new ClientGIOPConnection to 10.10.10.19:10005 (1882876)
2010-05-11 12:06:21,968 ERROR [STDERR] 2010-05-11 12:06:21.968 INFO Connected to 10.10.10.19:10005 from local port 1359
2010-05-11 12:06:22,000 ERROR [STDERR] 2010-05-11 12:06:22.000 WARNING init_host, corbaserver.mysite.com unresolvable
So based on the configuration is retrying 5 times with a delay of 500 ms.
How can I tell Jacorb to stop after trying 5 time and raise an exception that I could catch instead of opening a new connection and retrying again forever?
Regards Derek
