If I have a string in the format of "MMddyyyy" and I can convert it to java util Date. No problme. Now, if I create two strings with same "MMddyyyy" content, is it guaranteed that after I convert them to Date, then when I compare date_1 and date_2, JVM will always show me they date_1 and date_2 are equal ? I mean, does JVM theoretically ALWAYS show date_1 and date_2 equal ?
