I found this statement very troublesome and confusing .

They sell accommodations for business and pleasure travellers at short notice, helping hotels to fill rooms that would otherwise be left empty. They take bookings only within 48 hours of the start of room occupancy.

If a customer booked a room 3 days after it being empty, do we accept this reservation?
Also, this statement introduces a hidden requirement: we need to insert new rooms or update existing rooms provided by the source hotels. Do we need to provide GUI for this requirement?

Hi Jianping,

Did you try the search engine of the scjd forum looking for 48 hours business rule? There is no such thing has hidden requirements, so you don't have to provide update/new functionality in your GUI. And implementing the 48 hours business rule, is just your decision. Some people did it, others (like me) didn't.

Kind regards,
Roel

Howdy, Jianping!

Well champ, I also chose not to implement it. It's just that it is not specified whether we must implement it. Besides, this situation is something that the CSRs may choose to accept or not. So, you don't have to implement it.
