server.xml

Hello!

I want to modify the server.xml file. All I'm trying to do is uncomment the following line:

<Valve className="org.apache.catalina.valves.AccessLogValve" directory="logs"
prefix="localhost_access_log." suffix=".txt" pattern="common" resolveHosts="false"/>
-->

When I save the file I get an error (Please check whether if this file is opened in another program). Sometimes I get the error (Access to server.xml denied). I hope someone can help me with this. I am using tomcat 6 and Windows 7.

Yes. I stopped the tomcat server. I even did an exit.

Check your Windows access rules for the server.xml file.

I did. I have full access to the file

I am wondering if it has something to do with windows 7
