I know what Craig Mcclanahan said about this.
But inspite of that do you think JSF eventually will obsolete Struts.
Now that MyFaces is becoming part of Apache and Struts 2.0 seems to be going the JSF way, is it the beginning of the end for Struts?
Thanks,

I'm not all that familiar with JSF... it's on the list to learn though. That said, doesn't it all come down to what the industry accepts? Struts already has a sizable footprint in the industry near as I can tell. I believe the term is "critical mass". If you scan job postings you'll see that Struts is a skill people are looking for. There are industry courses dedicated to Struts, which indicates that there are more than a few people looking to learn it. Sure, like anything else it will either evolve or fade out over time, but seeing that the industry already has a sizable stake in Struts, I think this will be something pretty gradual when/if it does happen.
