Is there any way to override the browser actions like 'Back', 'Next' and 'Refresh' on a page using java script event handler to show any popup message?
While you can't specifically override the browser's functionality, Back, Next, and Refresh cause the current page to become unloaded, like any kind of navigation. The unloading of the document fires events, which you can receive (and in some cases, cancel to prevent the user from performing that navigation).
Look into the "onbeforeunload" and "onunload" events. However, you won't be able to tell if the user is clicking a link in your content or clicking the browser's navigation buttons.
