Hi all,

I want to take the SCJP relatively soon. I have read other posts regarding preparation time. The thing is, I have one month of free time to study, so therefore I can afford to study 6 - 8 hours per day, programming practice that is.

I did Java in University for the 4 years but have not really programmed in it much in the last 3 years, although I have done some basics.

So would one month of programming practice and mock exams be a realistic time frame?

Thanks in advance

Rooney welcome to javaranch.

Well you might be able to clear the exam in 1 month. First of all you'll need to study a book too in addition to practice and mock exams. Check the ScjpFaq for books info. Secondly you'll have to study hard to clear the exam in 1 month, but its possible so you can go for it...

Welcome to JavaRanch..
Just first concentrate on some great book then in parallel also solve MockExam.
Exam is very tricky but easy once you learn all those tricks.
