Guys,
I am generating text file from servlet. Everything works fine. But when i open txt file in notepad. All the tab seperated words are not at
equal distance from their preceding word. I am also putting down code.

Thanks

Get Notepad++.

Also, separating columns of information with tabs will not work well in any text editor because it is very dependent on the contents of the tabs and the tab settings. You are better off opening such a file in a spreadsheet app such as Excel or OpenOfiice.org Calc. Though Notepad++ will let you set the tab size and if you set it sufficiently high you might get what you want.
