Hi,

length is a method (or) variable in Array (Not Arrays) and where to see the API? If there is no API, how to figure that length is a variable (or) method. I believe, If it is a method, there will be brackets after the method declaration.

As Java doesn't allow you to change the array length after initialization (int x[]=new int[2]),the length is a variable being initialized when you initialize your array.
To check that the length is a variable you can write a simple program and debug it.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
