String split

How does the split work?!

I run this code:

 
String ar [] = ";;aaaa;;aaa;aaaa;;".split(";");
     System.out.println(ar.length);
     for (String string : ar) {
		System.out.println(">"+string+"<");

and I bumped in a strange behaviour...

I was expecting either 3 or 7 length string array,but I got 6 instead...

Javadoc wrote:This method works as if by invoking the two-argument split method with the given expression and a limit argument of zero. Trailing empty strings are therefore not included in the resulting array.

Thanks! i missed the trailing empty strings...they are my worst nightmare, in regex matching too...
