Assuming Santa has to deliver all of the presents on Christmas night, how many hours does that give him? Assume he starts at midnight.

Since the sun rises about 8.00am here in midwinter, 32. If you go rather farther north, say to northern Norway, you are looking at about a month until sunrise

I assumed that all presents had to be delivered at some point on Dec. 25th, local time. I did not take daylight/darkness into account, since he would have such a short time in any given house that you wouldn't be able to see him anyway.

You mean after 2000000000 chimneys Santa will be so black with soot nobody will be able to see him? In that case, 48 hours.

Although my kids have been getting up between 4 and 5am recently, but I'm sure he has learnt to adjust for that by now.

I had mine trained better than that. When Sarah was 12, she was given her last present at 8pm And her sister was only eight and was given presents at similar timings.

I found where 31 might have come from.

I suggest huckleberry pie. But the only thing on the gluten free menu is this tiny ad:
a bit of art, as a gift, the permaculture playing cards
