My company, Wild Bamboo Rocket, LLC, is looking for a part time (20 hours per week) jr to mid level engineer with Grails experience as well as jQuery (or JavaScript in general) experience to help us finish up some client work. This is a 100% remote work opportunity.

Requirements:

Experience with Grails 1.3.x.
Experience with JavaScript - jQuery preferred but will to look at candidates with other JavaScript XP
Skype - this is how we communicate
Good spoken English skills and communication - We don't want to get bogged down in speech barriers.
Ability to think for themselves and work outside the box when necessary.
Willingness to disagree when necessary and not just say 'yes' to everything.

Preferences:

State side - Because of the time frame we would really like someone in the USA but are open to other locations if the candidate fits all other requirements.

This isn't rocket science and we don't need a sr level person, so the best we can do with rates is between $20 / hour and $35 / hour depending on your experience with Grails.

If you can not meet all the requirements, please do not waste our time. Send your resume to gregg DOT bolinger AT wildbamboorocket DOT com for consideration.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
