Does anyone knows the difference of this in persistence.xml

<property name="hibernate.jdbc.fetch_size" value="3"/>

and that in entity-class:
@BatchSize(size=10)
@OneToMany(mappedBy = "..", fetch=FetchType.EAGER)
private Set<Hobby> hobbies;

The documenation says that

"hibernate.jdbc.fetch_size: A non-zero value determines the JDBC fetch size (calls Statement.setFetchSize()). "

Is it both the same ?
