Hi all,

I am happy to say, today I've passed the exam and got 74%.

I've gone through with RMH first and then proceed with Mikalai Zaikin, Ivan A Krizsan.
Not only in exam point of view, your material gave me clear picture on webservices.

Even though I had not post any queries oft, I am following this ranch dialy and viewers posts helped.

Request to MZ and Ivan, Please provide us with your valuable editions for 6th version also, it helps lot of tekkies.

My opinion is
Step1 : Good understanding in XML,XML Schemas, WSDL,SOAP, WSDL and WS-I Basic Profile
Step2 : Then look at how java provides APIs to supporting them.

Thank You once again

Regards
Krishna

I really would like to, but I fear I won't have time. Writing the study guide for SCDJWS 5 took me over a year (although I assume writing a study guide for OCPJWSD 6 won't take that long time, since there are similarities in the topics).
I am working on other books, though.
Best wishes!

Congratulations Sathi.

From your own experience, how do you describe the toughness of this test. I have been preparing for a longer time now, but unfortunately not so confident on the test.

Have you or anybody else attempted the Mock tests provided by Sun before attempting the main test. If yes, how do you compare both.

I attempted to write the mock tests provided by Sun (Oracle) where they provide 69 questions and the pass percentage is 50%. Though I was able to pass the test with 60%, I'm not really happy with my performance and the questions that were asked in that mock are really tough for me. Considering that the pass percentage in main test is 68%, I'm not sure how would I be performing in the main test, given that I could not score more than 60% in mock.

I'm yet to take the mock test provided by Mikalai and see where do I stand....

Hi Vasu,

The mock exams which I was referring to is for OCDJWS 5.0. Not sure, if there are any mocks available for OCDJWS 6.0.

All the best.

Thanks

Hi Sathi ,

Belated wishes for your good score .
I am preparing for the SCDJWS - Version 6 .

As you would suggested in the forum I am reading MZ & Ivan's books.
Could you able to come up with the clear picture of how to prepare the SCDJWS exam for securing decent score.

Hi MZ & Ivan,

Could you please guide me for the SCDJWS Version 6-exam preparation.

Thanks in Advance.
