Hi,
I'm considering to learn how to drive motorcycles and get a one.
Considering I'm not a well built guy, what are suitable machines for me? please don't hesitate to suggest any Harley

If you can't hold up a big heavy bike, a Harley is not for you. Also pretty pricey.

If the cruiser style is what you like (it's my style), then a Honda Rebel might be a good starter bike.

I've owned three Harleys. My current ride is a Yamaha V-Star 1100. Too big a bike for starters.

How a bike for starters differs from bike for non-starter?
What was/is your favorite bike ever?

Size. Too big a bike will just get you into trouble or worse.

Of all the bikes I've owned, my current V-Star is by far my favorite.

Wow. I'm usually not a big fan of the heavy bikes, but that V-Star looks gorgeous.

Thanks. Here's a pic of mine (near a famous Austin landmark).

It looks an amazing and a special bike since you are preferring it over three Harleys.
Why do you drive bikes? why not cars? what is special about riding bikes?

Driving big bikes depends on the experience or on the physical strength?

While I liked my Harleys a lot, I finally decided I wanted a bike that would always start in the mornings.

Why do you drive bikes?

It's fun! And hard to argue with 45 miles/gallon.

why not cars?

Drive my car too!

Maybe it's because you're too young for a mid-life crisis.

(Sorry, Bear, only kidding! )

LOL! Actually, when I picked up the MX-5 last year, I jokingly called it my Midlife-Crisis-Mobile.

When I bought my red Mustang GT convertible, I told my wife I needed either that car or a young blonde. My wife agreed that the car was fine.

Riding a bike is totally different than driving in a car. Tons more fun. It can make even commuting to work enjoyable. Back in the olden days, they sold lots of small, easy to handle bikes, suitable to rookie riders. These days, there is much less to chose from. And the performance of the sport bikes has increased to the point that none of them are suitable for beginners. A 600cc sportbike is more than fast enough to get you into serious trouble.

Wise words Pat. That's why I recommended the Rebel. At 234cc and low to the ground, makes a nice starter bike, and looks good too.

Glad that Pat brings the Mustang to the table.
Is driving a muscle car (Mustang, Shelby, Challenger and Camaro) more difficult than driving a normal car since a muscle car has a big front part?

I have always been cars fan but two years ago I saw a crew driving BMW motorcycles and the machines were awesome, pure beauty.

I know, as far as sport bikes go, Honda and Kawasaki make 250cc bikes that I've heard are pretty good for starters (CBR250R and Ninja 250R, respectively). I'm looking to get one this year, and one of those 2 are what I'm looking at for a starter bike.

All muscle cars have big, heavy engines up front and rear wheel drive. Most of the time, this is what you want. But in the snow, and even in the rain, it can be a handful. Stepping on the gas hard on dry pavement will light up the rear tires. Doing so in the wet, will cause useless wheel-spin. Do this in a corner, and the rear of the car will pass the front. This is usually a bad thing (tm).

I live on the top of a hill. When it snows, I parked the mustang at the bottom of the hill and walked up to my house (about two blocks) as there was no way that the mustang was going to climb the hill.

I believe that driving fast with an American-style muscle car is more challenging than driving fast in a pocket rocket such as some of the Subaru and Honda models. But challenge is why one buys the car, otherwise, you can always get a Toyota Camery.

No matter what, driving something like a Honda Hurricane 600 stupidly will get you in far more danger than driving a Mustang GT stupidly. Doing it in either is pretty dumb.

Do you drive them on freeways? or motorcycles are just for city roads.

1 gallon equals to around 1.6 kilometer and About 3.79 liters make a US gallon....Here in India most less fuel efficient bike gives you around 40 kmpl

Means this bike is very less fuel efficient ............That's why US need MUCH OIL
