I am trying out the following example from HFSJ .

I am not sure why my jsp is displaying a null value.
Do i need to forward it to the jsp. Getting more confused as I am reading further...

Any help would be appreciated !

Hi Nabila!

What error do you get? Does it get to the tag handler code (do you see the System.out.println())?

The example works fine on my tomcat 5.5 server

ok, I see where your problem is (bad formed html), change:

into:

I had removed that extra "<" when copying your code into my IDE that's is why I didn't see it the first time
