i have been asked if i can build a java GUI to play website based games and automate them...

is this possible in a swing?? i know you can use javascripts to run off say greesemonkey in firefox, so will it be possible for java to access website data in this way??

any info will be great thanks...

No, Java is not JavaScript and vice versa.



The only way to run Java code in a browser is via an applet.

hehe yeah i know that.. just wanted to know if its possible in java if applet is the only way i will look into that ta..
