Better way to update a record from one table with column values from another (SOLVED)

edit - nevermind, my whole reasoning is flawed here...

I am just wanting to basically copy/paste 2 records from one table to another. The record has something like 40 columns.

The best way I know to do this is as follows:


where I will need to write out all 40 column mappings. There has to be an easy way to write this statement (or not?)
