I have a form that allows a user to be edited, added, or deleted. On the user list page, I click on an emaila address and this modify_user page is displayed. Because of the ADD functionallity, I am validating most of the fields with the validator framework. So now, I want to be able to click on the Delete button to delete this displayed user but the validation says that a password is required.

Well, that is expected since the form validation requires a password. Is there anyway to tell the Action to not perform validation? Something similar to JSF's immediate attribute?

Thanks.

You can disable validation on a per-action basis in the struts-config.

Yes, I know that. But I don't have multiple Action classes for the single form. I guess I should have said per button basis and not per action.
