Hai guys....

I'm installing ihs 7.0 32-bit on Windows server 2008 R2 Enterprise edition....
during the installation it creates new folder like ( c:/program files (x86/IBM/HTTPServer/plugins)/logs/install/installIHSPlugin.log )


INSTALL ERROR!!! (..../plugin-cfg.xml) does not exist...

but it exist....
can i install the plugins separately (ie., different folder)...

I need your to solve it please help me guys...

As part of WebSphere install you may install IBM HTTP Server (IHS). The IHS install is again a two step process. First step is to install the HTTP server and second step is to install the plug-in. The plug-in is a windows ActiveX type DLL component, which connents HTTP Server to the WAS Server.

Yes you can un-install and install just the IBM HTTP piece. You may have to do some manual removal work if the install didnt happen correctly. You can get information at IBM.com for manual uninstall of IHS.
