I have an existing Eclipse java project, and need to export it to the war file for deployment. By googling, it turns out that I need to covert it to a dynamic web project at first. But the menu item for this conversion is disabled. I would like to know why.

The easiest way I can think of is to create a new dynamic web project and copy the files into it in the right directory. You could write an Ant script to create the war directories and jar things up, but that's more work.

It's a tiny ad. At least, that's what she said.
