Setting class path for j2ee

I installed j2ee in ubuntu using .bin file
Now I need to set class path, how do I do that? I have no idea.
I have netbeans which does not support : import
import javax.servlet.*;
import javax.servlet.http.*;

after installing j2ee, will it automatically support j2ee or do i have to adjust netbeans too?

I'll assume that what you did is install the J2EE SDK. (What was the full name of the .bin file?) You'll have to find out where the installer placed the JAR files, and then include those JARs in your project in NetBeans.

This sounds more like an IDE issue, so I'll move this post.
