Hi all,

I have done with my SCJP 1.4 exam 4 yrs back and now thinking of giving next exam as SCWCD wich is now changed.
What's the exact name of the exam now and where can i get information that whether my SCJP1.4 certification is still valid or not?
I am reading the blogs and posts here and I am getting more confused about the names of CERTIFICATION Exams.

I could not find any site where there is hierarchy wise explained information as it was before on SUN site. They have explained so well diagramatically that what certification you need to give to move AHEAD for web designing or component designing.

Please help.

if you want to take the former SCWCD certification, you should look at Oracle's official site at the OCPJWCD certification. Your SCJP 1.4 certification will be valid to take the OCPJWCD certification.

Good luck!

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
