In my sample application I am trying to delete an employee and redirect the user back to the page from where he/she clicks 'Delete'. However I am getting 404 when I have the url with query string such as:

However if I change the above url to remove the query string then it works.

Here is my controller and dispatcher-servlet code snippet.

DeleteEmpController.java

dispatcher-servlet.xml

Not sure what's going on. Why would it give 404 when we append a query string to the url.

Please guide.
